Welcome to American Citizen Services
The American Citizen Services (ACS) is a part of Consular Services at the U.S. Embassy in Mbabane. Assistance is provided to American citizens residing in or visiting Swaziland, including but not limited to Passport services, Consular Reports of Birth Abroad, and Notarials. The Embassy also assists in emergency situations, including deaths, arrests and crisis situations.

Note to All Americans
Americans living or traveling in Swaziland are encouraged to register with the U.S Embassy through the State Department’s travel registration web site at www.travel.state.gov. By registering, American citizens make it easier for the Embassy to contact them in case of emergency, and will receive updated information on travel and security within Swaziland.
Office Hours
The ACS unit is open to the public on Monday and Thursday from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.; Tuesday and Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.; and Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., except for emergency services. We are closed to the public on both Swazi and U.S. holidays.
Visitors are encouraged to call in advance to ensure the officer is in office to attend to your service needs.
