American Citizen Services

The American Citizen Services (ACS) unit assists American citizens in emergencies, and also provides routine services such as:

• processing passport applications
• issuing Reports of Birth Abroad to U.S. citizen children born in Swaziland
• providing overseas voting assistance
• giving information on Social Security and Veterans' benefits
• distributing income tax forms, notarizing documents
• registering Americans living or traveling in Swaziland.

Office Hours

The ACS unit is open to the public on Monday and Thursday from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.; Tuesday and Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.; and Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., except for emergency services. We are closed to the public on both Swazi and U.S. holidays.
